Aurok General fits best in a slow Order-based midrange or board-wide Empower deck that can reliably keep several Empowered units in play, because its payoff is strongest when it turns an established board into a +2 Might army; it is much weaker as a standalone five-cost unit or in decks that only Empower one or two targets. The card’s main problem is its expensive setup—five to deploy, then three Energy plus an Order rune to Empower—so it can be too slow and vulnerable to removal before generating value. It should be considered a payoff rather than an enabler, and generally competes poorly with cheaper Empower units or cards that provide immediate board impact; without knowing the exact current card pool and format, there is no responsible universal “strictly better” named replacement, but any lower-cost unit that Empowers multiple allies or grants an immediate Might bonus will usually be preferable. Aurok General should see play only as a small top-end package, likely one or two copie
