A deck that focuses on casting a high volume of instant and sorcery spells, such as a spell-slinging deck in a red-blue control or combo archetype, would benefit greatly from including Bonus Round. Other cards like Thousand-Year Storm may offer more consistent and powerful effects for spell-heavy decks, making Bonus Round a situational choice that may not see widespread play in competitive Magic: The Gathering decks.
