**Combat Experience** fits best in aggressive or tempo-based decks that rely on efficient combat trades and surprise damage—especially lists that swarm the board early and can reliably reach **Level 6** to unlock the +3 :rb_might: boost, such as XP-scaling aggro or midrange builds that naturally accumulate experience through frequent combat. The Reaction speed is a major strength, letting you win trades, punish blocks, or push lethal damage unexpectedly, which makes it strongest in proactive decks rather than control shells. However, if the format includes more efficient or permanent combat buffs (for example, cards that grant lasting +might, protect a unit, or provide both stat gain and another effect like draw or shield), those are often better because Combat Experience is temporary and offers no card advantage. If there’s a 1‑cost trick that grants +2 or more without needing Level 6, or one that also provides resilience, that would generally be superior outside dedicated XP builds.
