**Drag Under** fits best in a tempo-control or graveyard/recursion-focused deck that can reliably cast it from outside the hand (discard, exile, or similar zones) to take advantage of the 2-cost reduction, effectively making it a 3-cost kill spell, which is very efficient for battlefield removal. Decks that self-mill, discard for value, or replay spells from non-hand zones gain the most tempo swing, especially in showdown-heavy metas where flexible-speed removal is crucial. However, if your deck cannot consistently enable the cost reduction, more straightforward and consistently efficient removal options (such as lower-cost unconditional kill spells or removal that adds extra value like draw or board impact) would generally be better choices.
