However, in most midrange or control builds it tends to be underpowered compared to more impactful equipment like Runed Warframe (which grants immediate stat boosts plus a defensive keyword) or Synaptic Harness (which provides both a Mind synergy trigger and card advantage), making Hexplate feel like a filler unless your deck specifically rewards cheap attachments. Overall, it’s playable in dedicated Mind-rune synergy lists but generally not a staple, and stronger standalone equipment options usually outclass it in competitive settings.
