Void Assault fits best in tempo or control-oriented decks that care about repositioning units, stealing battlefield initiative, or forcing favorable engagements—especially decks that can capitalize on being the attacker or that benefit from luring enemies into vulnerable battlefields. It’s particularly strong in mobility-focused builds, combo-control lists that trigger effects on movement, or strategies that punish isolated enemy units. However, its value depends heavily on board state, making it less consistent than more direct removal or hard-control options; if the format includes cheaper displacement effects, unconditional removal, or cards that both move and debuff (for example, a hypothetical 2-cost spell that moves a unit and deals damage or exhausts it), those would generally be stronger due to guaranteed impact.
