Bushwhack fits best in tempo‑combo or aggressive swarm decks that want to explode onto the board in a single turn, especially lists that rely on units entering exhausted or that leverage “enters ready” for immediate attacks, tap abilities, or combo triggers; the Hidden mode makes it even stronger in reactive tempo shells that want to bank value and spring a surprise power turn for zero energy later. Decks that generate multiple units in one turn or that care about gear/token synergies will benefit most, since the exhausted Gold gear token is mostly a value bonus unless you specifically exploit artifact/gear counts. However, if your list doesn’t meaningfully capitalize on readying units the same turn they enter, this becomes a low‑impact setup card, and more universally powerful tempo enablers or direct board buffs (such as cards that grant immediate haste without extra setup or that create ready units outright) are typically stronger and more consistent; in highly synergistic swarm or
