**Convergent Mutation** fits best in aggressive or midrange decks that swarm the board with multiple friendly units—especially ones that can reliably field a very high‑Might threat alongside smaller, evasive, or wide‑board units. It shines in “go‑wide” or tempo builds where turning a small, unblocked attacker into a copy of your biggest unit’s Might can create sudden burst damage, win trades unexpectedly, or punish removal mid‑combat thanks to its Reaction speed. It’s particularly strong in decks that naturally produce one oversized unit (through buffs or scaling) and several cheap bodies, but weaker in control or low‑unit strategies. However, if your goal is consistent stat amplification, permanent buff spells or global anthem effects (such as scalable Might boosts or lasting enhancement auras) are generally better because they don’t rely on already having a high‑Might unit and provide lasting value rather than a temporary spike.
