Crescent Strike would fit best in midrange or control decks that want efficient, flexible removal that can swing tempo during clustered board states, especially in metas where opponents tend to stack multiple units on a single battlefield. The 4 damage to a primary target is strong enough to remove most mid-sized threats, while the extra 1 damage to other enemy units can finish off weakened units or punish swarm strategies, giving it solid value for 3 cost. It’s less impressive in aggressive decks that prefer cheaper, face-oriented damage or in formats dominated by large single threats that exceed 4 health. Whether it should see play depends on the card pool: if there are cheaper single-target removals that deal 4+ damage for 2 cost, those may be more efficient for pure spot removal, and if there are 3-cost spells that deal broader or higher AoE damage, they might outclass it in control builds.
