One type of deck that could benefit from Energybending is a multicolor control deck that needs access to various types of mana to cast its spells efficiently. While Energybending can provide temporary access to different basic land types, there may be better cards like Farseek or Cultivate which provide more consistent mana fixing in a longer-lasting way. Energybending could see play in specific circumstances where temporary fixing and card draw are valuable, but overall, it may not be a staple in most decks.
