Fae Porter fits best in a **movement- or battlefield-manipulation-focused deck** that wants to repeatedly reposition units for value—especially decks built around “when this moves” triggers, enter-the-battlefield effects, or concentrated tempo swings by suddenly stacking power in one battlefield. It’s particularly strong in Chaos-rune aggressive or midrange shells that can afford the extra rune payment and capitalize on surprise reinforcement or combo setups. However, in most competitive builds it may struggle if there are cheaper or unconditional movement enablers (such as low-cost repeatable movers or cards that move multiple units without an extra rune cost), since paying 4 plus an additional Chaos rune can be slow and resource-intensive.
