It’s particularly valuable in decks running multiple powerful 4–7 Energy spells where consistency matters more than tempo, but in faster metas a 5-cost unit that doesn’t immediately affect the board can be too slow. If the format includes cheaper, more efficient spell tutors, raw draw engines, or units that both generate value and stabilize the board (such as a 4-cost draw-2 engine or a unit that tutors any spell regardless of cost), those would generally be better due to lower tempo loss or broader flexibility.
