Lacerate would mainly benefit a black/control or midrange deck that wants efficient conditional removal and can reliably exploit enemy units being [Empowered], since it can both strip Empowered and kill smaller threats for just 2 mana, with the [Flow] option giving it late-game reach and recursion from trash; that said, it is somewhat narrow because it only cleanly answers units at 3 Might or less, so decks facing bigger threats, token swarms, or needing unconditional removal may prefer better cards if available—typically any cheap removal spell that kills without a Might ceiling or also hits champions would be stronger and more broadly playable—so Lacerate should see play only if the meta is full of small/Empowered units or your deck specifically wants repeated spell-based interaction, otherwise it’s more of a niche inclusion than a staple.
