He’s especially strong in decks that benefit from prolonged combat, on-defend triggers, healing, or buffs that increase his survivability, since protecting Taric amplifies the value of your entire formation. He may be less effective in aggressive or combo-focused decks that spread units across multiple locations or prioritize speed over durability.
