Back to Back fits best in aggressive or midrange swarm decks that consistently have multiple units on board, especially token, go-wide, or tempo strategies that can turn a surprise +2 :rb_might: on two units into favorable trades or sudden burst damage; because it’s a Reaction, it’s particularly strong in combat-centric decks that want to swing board math mid-fight or punish removal-based blocks. It’s weaker in control, spell-heavy, or low-unit decks where you can’t reliably target two meaningful bodies. If the format includes more efficient single-target combat tricks (for example, a 1–2 cost spell that gives +3 :rb_might: or +2 :rb_might: plus a defensive keyword) or a 3-cost spell that buffs your entire board, those would generally be stronger due to either better rate or wider impact; compared to premium global pump effects, Back to Back is more situational and less explosive.
