Fox-Fire fits best in tempo-control or reactive midrange decks that want flexible, low-cost interaction, especially lists that can reliably generate rainbow runes and are comfortable holding up resources to threaten plays during showdowns; its ability to wipe multiple small units for only 3 cost (and potentially 0 energy later via Hidden) makes it particularly strong against swarm, token, or low-Might aggro strategies and in metagames where boards often total 4 Might across several bodies rather than one large threat. However, in environments dominated by single high-Might finishers or resilient units, broader or higher-ceiling removal like battlefield-wide sweepers that ignore Might limits or premium single-target kill spells that hit any unit will generally be stronger, making Fox-Fire more of a meta-dependent tech card than an auto-include; it should see play when small-unit decks are common and rune flexibility is easy to support, but it’s likely a sideboard or flex-slot option rat
