Hidden Blade would fit best in a tempo-control or combo-control deck that cares more about board control and timing than raw card advantage, since trading one card for an opposing unit while giving the opponent two cards is only worth it if you gain a major tempo swing (for example, removing a key combo piece, a huge boss unit, or a battlefield-defining threat at instant speed using Hidden). It’s particularly strong in decks that can punish card draw, pressure life totals quickly so extra cards don’t matter, or win through inevitability where the opponent’s hand size is irrelevant. However, in most standard control shells, unconditional removal that doesn’t replace the opponent’s resources (such as clean “destroy/exile target unit” effects without compensation) would generally be better, making those options stronger in grindy matchups.
