Kharox looks best in a slow Chaos midrange/control deck, especially one that can reliably reach 6 cost, generate extra energy for the Empower activation, and capitalize on attrition, mill, or long games where the opponent’s trash will contain strong units to steal; it is much less attractive in aggressive decks because you are paying a lot up front and then still need to invest more before getting the real payoff, so the card’s ceiling is high but its floor is clunky. I would only call it strong in a meta where opponents commonly play premium units worth reanimating from trash and where games go long enough for the Empower line to matter; otherwise, more immediate 6-cost threats or more reliable reanimation/value cards that do not depend on the opponent’s trash are usually better picks, so unless your format specifically rewards the burn-into-steal plan, Kharox feels more like a niche meta card than a staple, and it should see play only in dedicated grindy Chaos shells rather than as a
