Meditation fits best in tempo or midrange decks that naturally run a high density of cheap, expendable, or already-value-generating units—especially ones that don’t rely on attacking every turn or that benefit from being exhausted (e.g., units with passive effects, summoning value, or “when exhausted” triggers). It’s strongest in board-centric blue/control-leaning builds that want flexible, instant-speed card draw to dig for answers while holding up interaction, since being a Reaction makes it tactically powerful. However, in decks with low unit counts (hard control, spell-combo) or highly attack-dependent aggro lists, it’s less reliable and often just a slightly inefficient 2-cost draw 1. If Spell Riftbound includes a clean 2-cost “Draw 2” with no setup (or a 1-cost conditional draw like “Insight” that’s easier to enable), those would generally be better in non-unit-heavy shells, but in synergy-based or token decks Meditation can outperform them. Overall, it’s a solid, playable role-p
