Monch is best suited for a tempo‑midrange or control deck that can reliably stun opposing units, since its cost reduction and entering ready are conditional on the opponent already having a stunned unit; decks built around repeatable stun effects, tap/freeze mechanics, or combat tricks that disable blockers will consistently unlock its discounted 4‑cost body and immediate impact, making it a strong swing play that pressures while maintaining tempo. It is less effective in aggressive decks that don’t run stun support, because at full cost (6) it needs to provide above‑rate stats or a powerful ability to justify inclusion.
