Skyward Strike fits best in tempo or midrange Spell Riftbound decks that aim to control combat and push advantageous trades, especially ones that can reliably reach 6+ XP to unlock the Stun effect; early on, it functions as a positional tool to disrupt blockers or pull key threats out of formation, and once leveled it becomes strong swing tempo by both repositioning and blanking an enemy’s combat damage for a turn. Decks that care about board manipulation, evasive attackers, or protecting fragile win conditions benefit most, while slower control decks may prefer hard removal and aggressive decks may want more direct damage. If the card pool includes cheaper pure stun effects, unconditional removal, or movement spells that affect multiple units, those could be stronger in highly competitive lists due to efficiency; however, the flexibility of movement plus conditional stun makes Skyward Strike a solid, playable utility card, particularly in synergy-driven or XP-scaling builds rather tha
