Temptation fits best in control or tempo-focused Riftbound decks that thrive on board manipulation, especially those built around punishing clustered enemy units or triggering effects when units enter, leave, or share locations. Its repeat mechanic gives it strong late-game scaling, letting you repeatedly disrupt positioning or set up multi-target punishments, making it particularly valuable in decks that capitalize on forced movement, area damage, or location-based debuffs. However, if your strategy is more aggressive or combo-oriented, it may be too situational compared to more direct removal or hard-control options (for example, unconditional removal or mass displacement spells that don’t rely on existing positioning). Cards that provide broader control without requiring specific board states are generally stronger in a vacuum, so Temptation is best played in synergistic builds rather than as a staple; it should see play primarily in dedicated control shells that can consistently ex
