Veiled Temple fits best in aggressive or tempo-focused decks that frequently conquer locations and rely on Gear—especially Equipment—to generate incremental value, such as decks built around repeated attacks, on-hit triggers, or Equipment with strong “attach” effects that you want to reuse. Because it costs 0, it’s strongest in lists that can reliably conquer early and often, turning it into free action economy by readying key Gear (like weapons that exhaust to grant bonuses or utility tools with powerful tap effects) and potentially detaching Equipment to re-trigger powerful “on attach” abilities. However, if your deck doesn’t consistently conquer or runs minimal Gear, it’s effectively a blank slot, making it inferior to more universally impactful 0-cost battlefield cards that provide immediate stats, card draw, or board presence.
