About Squelch
Squelch, Instant, designed by Matt Cavotta first released in Oct, 2004 in the set Champions of Kamigawa.
A control deck focused on disrupting opponents' strategies would benefit from including Squelch in their deck, as it can effectively shut down key activated abilities while replacing itself with a card draw. However, cards like Stifle or Trickbind may offer more versatility in countering abilities, making them potentially better options depending on the specific meta. Squelch could see play as a situational sideboard card against decks reliant on activated abilities.
