Escaped Grayback looks best in an aggressive or sacrifice-synergy midrange deck that can turn expendable friendly units into value, because a 3-cost body that can become a stronger attacker by killing one of your own units is only appealing when your deck already wants death triggers, disposable tokens, or low-value early units lying around; in a normal tempo or control shell, the self-sacrifice cost is a real downside and makes it less efficient than cards that bring full stats or board impact without consuming your own board. Whether there are better cards depends on your faction and exact list, but in general any other solid 3-cost unit that offers immediate pressure, resilience, or upside without requiring you to lose a unit will usually be better unless your deck is specifically built to exploit sacrifice effects; so this is not a universal staple, but it can absolutely see play as a role-player in aristocrats-style, token-sacrifice, or death-value decks, while I would avoid it in
