About Moonlight Affliction
Moonlight Affliction, Spell, designed by Kudos Productions first released in Mar, 2026 in the set Unleashed.
Moonlight Affliction is best suited for a reactive control or tempo-control deck that wants flexible, instant-speed interaction to shut down key threats mid-combat or in response to buffs, especially since its Reaction timing lets you interrupt combos or win trades unexpectedly; however, at a cost of 7, it’s relatively expensive for single-target stat reduction unless the -10 :rb_might: reliably removes high-cost finishers or swings combat decisively. Faster control lists may prefer cheaper removal or hard removal spells (such as unconditional destroy/exile effects or lower-cost debuff reactions) if available, as those provide more efficient tempo, while midrange decks might opt for proactive threats instead of holding up 7 resources. Overall, it should see play primarily in slower control builds that value instant-speed answers and can afford the cost, but if more efficient or unconditional removal exists in the card pool, those options are generally better.
