About Otterpus

Otterpus, Unit, designed by Kudos Productions first released in Jul, 2026 in the set Vendetta.

Otterpus looks best in slower, value-oriented Unit decks that expect the opponent to score exactly 1 point early from holding or a small conquest, because it converts that first or second-turn point into a card and can disrupt tempo-focused or incremental-scoring plans; in practice, that means it is more of a niche metagame tech card than a staple, since it does nothing against decks that score in bigger chunks, score later, or do not care much about the early replacement, and a card is usually “better” if it either advances your own board proactively or interferes with scoring more reliably rather than only in this narrow window, so unless the current environment is full of decks repeatedly taking 1-point early turns, Otterpus probably should not see broad play and is more likely a sideboard or flex-slot choice than a main-deck priority.
