Ruin Runner

About Ruin Runner

Ruin Runner, Unit, designed by Grafit Studio first released in March 2026 in the set Spiritforged. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of C$ 0.51.

Ruin Runner would fit best in a midrange or ramp-style deck that aims to play durable, hard-to-answer threats in the mid-to-late game, especially in a meta heavy on targeted removal and control strategies. Its built-in protection from enemy spells and abilities makes it strong against decks relying on spot removal or targeted debuffs, so it shines as a resilient finisher or stabilizing body rather than an aggressive tempo play. However, whether it should see play depends on its stats and impact on board—if there are other 6-cost units that provide immediate value (such as card draw, board impact, or evasion) or have broader protection (like full immunity or built-in pressure), those may be better choices in faster or combo-heavy environments. Ruin Runner is best included when survivability and consistency matter more than explosive value, and in the right meta it can absolutely justify a slot, but it is likely meta-dependent rather than an auto-include.
