About Temporal Breach

Temporal Breach, Spell, designed by Kudos Productions first released in Jul, 2026 in the set Vendetta.

Temporal Breach would generally fit a tempo-control or combo-oriented Riftbound deck that wants to disrupt an opponent’s board at key moments, force awkward sequencing, or retrigger “on play” / “when played” effects on a unit; it can also be useful in decks that benefit from temporarily removing a threat without fully destroying it, especially if you can choose a target that is expensive or has a powerful enter-play ability. That said, as a 2-cost spell with Hidden and a somewhat symmetrical effect, it’s often clunky unless your deck is built to exploit the bounce/replay timing, and in many cases straightforward removal, hard control, or cheaper tempo tools will be better because they don’t give the opponent immediate access to the unit again. If your card pool has cards that either remove a unit more permanently or return it without letting the owner replay it immediately, those would usually be stronger options; as written, Temporal Breach is more of a niche tech card than a staple,
