About Treasure Hunter

Treasure Hunter, Unit, designed by Grafit Studio first released in March 2026 in the set Riftbound Organized Play Promotional Cards and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of C$ 0.22.

Treasure Hunter fits best in a tempo‑ or engine‑focused deck that can reliably trigger multiple movement effects (blink, reposition, forced movement, or repeatable mobility tools), since each move generates a Gold gear token and converts mobility into incremental resource advantage; it’s especially strong in midrange value shells or combo‑leaning builds that use gear tokens as fuel for synergies, sacrifice outlets, or cost reduction engines. However, if your list can’t consistently move units, it’s underwhelming compared to more self-sufficient 2‑cost value cards that generate immediate impact without setup (for example, a 2‑cost unit that creates a token on play or provides raw card draw would generally be more reliable). In decks built to exploit movement triggers it’s a solid role‑player and potentially very efficient over time, but outside of that niche there are likely better, more consistent options, so it should only see play in dedicated move-synergy archetypes rather than gene
