About Twisted Fate - Gambler
Twisted Fate - Gambler, Unit, designed by Six More Vodka first released in Mar, 2026 in the set Origins.
Twisted Fate – Gambler would fit best in a midrange or tempo deck that can manipulate or predict the top of the rune deck, since his value scales heavily with controlling which domain you reveal; decks that stack, scry, or recycle runes intentionally can turn his attack trigger into consistent removal (Fury), card advantage (Mind), or disruption (Order), making him a flexible threat rather than a gamble. He’s particularly strong in rune-control shells that want repeatable value over multiple turns, especially if they can grant him safe attacks or protect him, but in aggressive decks he may be too slow and in pure control lists he may be too inconsistent without setup. If there are cards that guarantee rune selection, directly tutor specific runes, or provide unconditional removal/card draw without relying on an attack trigger, those would generally be more consistent and therefore stronger in competitive play; however, in a synergistic rune-manipulation deck, Twisted Fate is likely goo
