Rockfall Path, Battlefield, designed by Polar Engine Studio first released in Mar, 2026 in the set .
Rockfall Path is best suited for control or combo-style Riftbound decks that don’t rely on developing units in every lane and instead win through spells, indirect damage, alternate win conditions, or by stacking power in the other two battlefields while denying interaction in one; because it costs 0, it can function as a strategic lock piece to shut down swarm, midrange, or location-dependent unit decks that need all lanes active. However, its effect is symmetrical and can be a real liability if your deck ever needs to pivot or contest that battlefield, so it’s strongest in highly specialized builds rather than general play. If there are other battlefield control cards that either tax unit deployment, limit only the opponent, or provide an additional upside (such as damage, card draw, or stat modification), those would generally be better because they create asymmetrical advantage instead of pure restriction. As a result, Rockfall Path should see niche play in dedicated control/combo m
