**Factory Recall** is a cheap, flexible tempo tool that fits best in control, tempo, or disruption-focused decks that want to slow the opponent down by bouncing key gear mid-combat or undoing expensive plays for just 1 cost; it’s especially strong in slower metas where gear is high-impact and costly to replay, or in builds that benefit from replay triggers if you’re targeting your own gear. However, in fast aggro decks it’s usually too low-impact unless it directly swings a showdown. If the format includes stronger removal (such as cards that destroy or permanently disable gear rather than return it) or broader bounce effects that can hit any permanent instead of just gear, those options are generally better for long-term advantage. Factory Recall should see situational play—main-deckable in gear-heavy metas, but more often a sideboard tech choice rather than a staple.
