**Gust** is a flexible, low-cost tempo tool that fits best in tempo, midrange-control, or reactive spell-based decks that want to disrupt early aggression or protect themselves from efficient threats without spending much resource investment. Because it can be played as a **Reaction** before spells and abilities resolve, it’s especially strong against buff spells, aura-based strategies, or units relying on combat tricks—bouncing the target in response can waste both the unit’s tempo and the opponent’s spell investment. It shines in slower decks that aim to stall, maintain board parity, or punish opponents who commit heavily to small-to-midrange units (3 Might or less), but it loses value in metas dominated by high-Might threats or enter-the-battlefield value units that don’t mind being replayed.
