About Hungry Wolf
Hungry Wolf, Unit, designed by Six More Vodka first released in Jul, 2026 in the set Vendetta.
Hungry Wolf looks best in an aggressive or tempo Order-based deck that attacks with units, picks off enemy units in combat, and can reliably “choose” opposing units during the turn so its self-ready effect turns into extra pressure or a surprise second trade; in that kind of shell, a 4-cost unit that can effectively attack twice or grow mid-turn has some value, especially if you care about board-centric snowballing. That said, it seems more like a synergy card than a raw-rate staple, because needing to have chosen an enemy unit first and only getting +1 might makes it conditional and a bit clunky compared with more independently strong 4-drops or premium Order threats that generate immediate board impact without setup. So unless your deck is specifically built to trigger its condition consistently and exploit the ready effect, there are probably better cards for most lists—generally, any more efficient 4-cost unit with stronger baseline stats, immediate removal pressure, or uncondition
