Kha'Zix – Evolving Hunter fits best in an aggressive midrange “Hunt” or XP-scaling deck that consistently conquers and holds locations to fuel his XP ability, especially lists built around high-Might units and board pressure so his attack trigger becomes reliable removal; he shines in tempo-oriented decks that want repeatable, targeted damage without spending separate cards. However, he competes with more immediately impactful 5-cost threats—cards that either generate value on play, have built-in protection, or don’t require XP to function (for example, a 5-cost unit that deals direct damage on summon or has Overwhelm/Elusive pressure tends to be more consistent). If your deck can reliably generate excess XP and maintain board control, Kha’Zix is a strong, snowball-oriented inclusion; otherwise, in slower or XP-light builds, more self-sufficient 5-drops are generally better, making him playable but somewhat meta- and synergy-dependent rather than an auto-include.
