Master Yi - Meditative, Unit, designed by Kudos Productions first released in Mar, 2026 in the set Riftbound Organized Play Promotional Cards and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
Master Yi – Meditative fits best in a rune-heavy midrange or control deck that can reliably reach and maintain 8+ runes, since his +4 :rb_might: bonus only turns on in the late game, making him effectively a 5‑cost scaling threat rather than an early tempo play. Decks that ramp, generate extra runes, or stall the board benefit most, as they can consistently activate his condition and turn him into an overstatted finisher. However, if your archetype struggles to reach 8 runes quickly, more consistent 5‑cost units that provide immediate impact (such as ones with on-play damage, board control, or unconditional stats) are generally better because they don’t rely on setup. In rune-focused builds he can be strong and worth including as a payoff card, but outside of dedicated rune strategies he’s likely too conditional to justify competitive play.
