A 0‑cost card like Recruit would benefit decks that care about cheap unit density, combo triggers, swarm strategies, or sacrifice/value engines—especially lists that reward playing multiple units in a single turn, buff wide boards, or convert expendable bodies into resources. Aggro swarm, token, or combo-synergy decks are the most natural homes, since a free unit accelerates tempo and enables chain effects without spending energy. However, whether it should see play depends entirely on its stats and effect; if it’s just a low‑stat vanilla body, it’s likely outclassed by other 0‑ or 1‑cost units that generate value (such as units that draw a card, create another token, or provide a buff on entry). If stronger options exist that provide immediate impact or scaling potential, those would generally be better inclusions, and Recruit would only see play if the deck specifically needs a free body for synergy rather than raw power.
