About Stargazer
Stargazer, Unit, designed by Six More Vodka first released in Jul, 2026 in the set Vendetta.
Stargazer fits best in a dedicated Flow-spells graveyard/value deck that can reliably put multiple impactful spells into the trash through self-mill, discard, or repeated casting, then generate a large energy swing by replaying expensive Flow effects for 2 less; it is much weaker in a normal spell deck, since paying 5 for a unit that does nothing immediately is a major tempo cost and the discount cannot reduce spells below 1. It should be considered a build-around payoff rather than a generic inclusion: play it when your deck has enough high-cost or highly reusable Flow spells that you expect to recast at least two of them, ideally on the turn after Stargazer enters play. Whether a better card exists depends on the available deck and card pool, but cheaper recursion, direct spell-cost reduction, or units that provide immediate board impact are generally better unless Stargazer’s repeated discount is central to your strategy; as a result, Stargazer should see play in dedicated Flow-tras
