**Time Warp** is best suited for slow, control or combo-focused decks that can reliably reach 10 resources and gain strong value from taking an extra turn—such as decks that set up powerful board states, ongoing effects, or win conditions that snowball when given uninterrupted time. It’s especially strong in strategies that can reduce spell costs, ramp resources, or recur high-impact effects before the *Banish* clause matters. However, if Riftbound has cheaper extra-turn or tempo-swing cards (for example, a 6–8 cost extra-turn spell with a drawback, or powerful extra-combat / ready effects that effectively simulate another turn), those would generally be more efficient and competitive because 10 is a massive investment that risks losing tempo if countered or if you’re behind on board.
