About Zenith Blade
Zenith Blade, Spell, designed by Kudos Productions first released in Mar, 2026 in the set Origins.
Zenith Blade fits best in aggressive or tempo-oriented decks that want to force favorable combat swings, especially midrange “battlefield pressure” builds that rely on moving key units to pick off threats or win pivotal showdowns; stunning an enemy while repositioning your own unit lets you both neutralize a blocker and concentrate power where it matters, making it strong in decks that value mobility and combat tricks over raw removal. However, if your faction has access to cheaper or permanent removal (such as hard destroy/banish effects) or broader control tools like mass stun or exhaust effects, those will usually be more efficient than a 3‑cost single-target stun that doesn’t permanently answer the threat. Cards that outright remove a unit or generate card advantage tend to be stronger in control shells, while hyper-aggro decks may prefer lower-cost tricks. Zenith Blade should see play primarily in combat-focused tempo decks that can leverage the movement clause for surprise lethal
