Sett – Brawler is best suited for midrange or tempo-conquer decks that consistently trigger conquer effects and can stack or manipulate buffs, since he only gains value if you’re reliably conquering and maintaining buffs to convert into burst damage; he works particularly well in aggressive Riftbound lists that pressure early, snowball board control, and can protect a single large threat to repeatedly cash in his buff for +4 :rb_might: turns. However, in slower control decks or lists without consistent conquer triggers, he’s inefficient and underwhelming as a 5-cost unit that needs setup. If the format includes other 5-cost finishers or units that gain permanent stats without requiring buff investment (such as more self-scaling conquer champions or units with immediate impact like on-play damage or board control), those are generally stronger and more reliable than Sett, since his burst is temporary and conditional.
