About Carnivorous Snapvine
Carnivorous Snapvine, Unit, designed by Six More Vodka first released in Mar, 2026 in the set Origins.
Carnivorous Snapvine fits best in midrange or board-control decks that run high-Might units and want removal stapled onto a body, especially lists that can buff its Might before or immediately after it enters play or that don’t mind trading units for tempo; it’s particularly strong in decks that leverage damage triggers, death synergies, or healing to mitigate the reciprocal damage. However, in faster aggro decks it’s usually too slow at 5 cost, and in hard-control builds there are often cleaner removal options that don’t risk losing your own unit. If Riftbound includes more efficient single-target removal (for example, a 4-cost spell that cleanly destroys or deals flat high damage without self-harm) or units with higher base Might at the same cost that fight on entry without symmetrical damage, those would generally be better for pure efficiency. Snapvine should see play mainly in synergistic midrange builds where its fight effect advances your game plan rather than acting as just a f
