Today, let's go over the best cards from Unleashed for your side decks.

These cards solve a few problems and matchups that most decks in their colors struggle with. With them, you'll be able to beat a few strategies that will certainly be quite strong in the Unleashed meta.

This spell is a great way to beat holding strategies, and it is excellent in Vex mirror matches.

Holding strategies play small units that gain stats when they defend a battlefield with Shield. Moving more than one of them with Tricksy Tentacles is a pretty common line.

This card is also a great way to pull Karthus and other units in LeBlanc lists to the battlefield you control.

Against orange decks, you can pull Dragon Soul Rage or Fiora Worthy into combat, as they usually stay in the enemy base.

This spell fixes the issue most red decks nowadays struggle with: not being able to deal enough damage with spells to giant, late-game units.

This card is great against Aurora lists that play Elder Dragon and other units that don't die to Falling Star. It's perfect if you like playing red control lists, like Kai'Sa decks, some Annie strategies, and the new Pyke lists.

This spell might be the definitive answer for LeBlanc lists.

The Ruination is great in mirror matches and clears the wide boards that LeBlanc lists often set up.

It's also great against Aurora lists, particularly after your opponent plays lots of giant units that you can't deal with. As for holding strategies, like Vex lists, this card can also deal with their entire board if you don't take a Windwall.

This card will be a pretty strong staple in side decks in the Unleashed meta and any future metas that center around explosive strategies.

Surprisingly, this is one of the best side deck cards in the entire game. This Gear can turn any combat in your favor.

You'll need a bit of finesse to master it, and you'll also have to know the matchup in question really well. Otherwise, you won't use its debuff on the right tag.

Against some decks, like Viktor and Azir, this card is a must and wins games all by itself. With Pack of Wonders (another Gear that could be quite strong in this meta), The List will constantly debuff enemy cards, and your opponent won't be able to deal with it.

The most important side deck card in this Unleashed season is Smite. This spell is currently the best answer in the game for LeBlanc / Deathknell lists, as it banishes their units instead of killing them.

This makes a huge difference and ends up delaying their game plan considerably. They won't be able to draw cards or get extra runes for the following turns because of it.

In other matchups, this spell is also great against Scuttlecrab, as it prevents it from revealing your hand.
