Introduction

The Unleashed reveal/spoiler season is finally here. In less than 2 months, we'll see new Riftbound cards around, and cards from Origins and Spiritforged will certainly become either cheaper or more expensive as a result.
So, as the current market is stable, let's go through the most expensive cards in the game today.
All the data below was taken from TCG Player.
1 - Ahri - Inquisitive (Signed) - U$2,730

Ahri is the most expensive champion in the game nowadays, even though she is also one of the weakest Legends.
Ahri - Alluring Promo, for instance, is the second most expensive card in the game, aside from Alternative Arts and Overnumbered cards. At its highest, it costs US$153.
This character was already incredibly popular in other Riot games, like League of Legends and TFT. Her Inquisitive illustration is also one of the prettiest in the game.
2 - Kai'Sa - Daughter of the Void (Signed) - U$2,320

Kai'Sa was and still is one of the strongest Legends in the game. She was really relevant in set 1, as she and Annie fought for the title of "best deck" in the meta. Currently, she is one of the best Spiritforged tier-1 lists.
Unsurprisingly, her signed version from the first set is one of the most valuable cards in the game. She'll most likely become even more expensive as the years go by because of her generic effect and because this version is from the very first set.
3 - Ahri - Nine-Tailed Fox (Signed) - $1,920

This version is one of the most valuable cards in the game for the same reasons as Ahri - Inquisitive. Her popularity is undeniable.
4 - Irelia - Fervent (Signed) - U$1,650

Irelia Fervent (Signed) is the main card in her archetype, which centers around protecting her and keeping her in play. As such, she is one of the most valuable cards in the game nowadays.
"Spirit Blossom" is one of the most iconic themes in League of Legends and other Riot games, so they definitely made the right decision by bringing it to Riftbound. It made some weak cards a lot more expensive (we'll see them soon) solely because they feature this popular theme.
5 - Vayne - Hunter (Signed) - U$1,225

Vayne - Hunter also features the Spirit Blossom theme, but it isn't that popular nowadays and doesn't see much play in the meta. This artwork is incredible, though, and its effect is interesting enough to be strong in some deck in the future. It could become even more expensive as the years go by.
6 - Jinx - Loose Cannon (Signed) - U$960

Jinx is considered weak nowadays, but she is also one of Riot's most popular characters. She's also one of the main protagonists in Arcane, Riot's animated show.
This particular Jinx artwork is inspired by Arcane, and, as a result, she is one of the most valuable cards in the game.
7 - Miss Fortune - Bounty Hunter (Signed) - $950

This signed Overnumbered Miss Fortune is a pretty strong set 2 Legend, as well as one of the prettiest cards in the entire game.
Miss Fortune might not be as popular as Ahri and Jinx, but this card might be this valuable because of how beautiful and high-quality it is. Logically, it's also relatively useful and strong.
8 - Teemo - Swift Scout (Signed) - U$880

Love him or hate him, Teemo is one of Riot's most popular characters. Many hate him, but his fans love him twice as much to make up for it. As a result, any Alternative Art or Overnumbered Teemo automatically becomes one of the most valuable cards in the game.
9 - Sett - The Boss (Signed) - U$840

One surprisingly expensive card is Sett - The Boss, which was extremely popular in Set 1.
Because he is easy to play and popular, we can imagine why it is so expensive.
10 - Soraka - Wanderer (Signed) - U$830

Finally, we have another Spirit Blossom card. Soraka has a lot of fans, though she is not very strong. She is also surprisingly expensive.
