Top 5 Worst Cards in Vendetta - Rares and Epics

Today we'll look at the 5 worst rare and epic cards in Vendettalink outside website.

In terms of power level, Vendetta brought us some very weak cards that only work in highly specific situations, along with other cards that are extremely powerful and meta-defining. Even so, those weak cards have to work very hard to be as awful as the cards below.

Let's see them!

5 - Shen, Scourge of Shadows

Shen, Scourge of Shadows has premium stats for its cost. However, this card's biggest problem is that its effect is so specific that you will rarely be able to activate it during a game.

Having exactly 1 other unit on a battlefield alongside Shen, Scourge of Shadows goes against the idea of Holding decks, and his Might does not make up for the fact that he doesn't interact with anything in the game all that well and overall lacks potential.

Even so, he can work as a 6-Might block. After all, this is a significant amount of Might, and most decks cannot deal with it without spending a lot of resources.

4 - Corrupted Dragon

This card does not fit the deck it is supposed to see play in at all: Aurora lists. That's because, ideally, you should play Corrupted Dragon from your hand, and it should enter play ready and already attacking, moving enemy units to the base, instead of entering play for free from the top of your deck.

Ideally, you do not want to move your opponent's units; you would rather kill them in combat, since Corrupted Dragon has 10 Might and beats most units in this meta in showdowns.

But its main problem is that it competes with Elder Dragon, the best orange unit in the game, and it makes no sense to play Corrupted Dragon in your deck because it is a much worse version of Elder.

Not to mention, it's particularly outrageous that this card has such a terrible effect considering it's an Epic card.

3 - Wild Claw

The main problem with Wild Claw is that there are not enough good Gears or Empower units in the game nowadays to justify using it in a deck.

Its effect is not consistent at all, considering you may not find a single card with Empower among the top 5 cards in your deck.

That means you have to build your deck around this spell to make it work. And considering its effect is extremely mediocre and expensive, it really is not worth building a list around activating it consistently. Especially since there aren't enough cards in the game to do that.

Without a doubt, this is one of the worst cards in the game. Still, perhaps someday we will have enough support to make it work.

2 - Shen, Leader of the Kinkou Order

Shen, Leader of the Kinkou Order is, without a doubt, the worst champion unit in the entire game.

This card may have 7 Might, but it is so expensive and its effect is so bad that there is no reason to use it in a Shen deck.

The biggest problem with it is that the deck it is meant to see play in already has another card in the same colors with the same effect, only it's cheaper and doesn't force you to meet any conditions to work.

We're talking about Green Ahri. There is absolutely no reason to play Shen, Leader of the Kinkou Order when Ahri, Alluring exists.

1 - Bottled Constellation

Bottled Constellation is such an absurdly expensive Gear, with an effect that is so absurdly expensive as well, that there is no reason to play this card in any deck.

Not to mention that there is no way to support its effect with blue cards. You need to use yellow or purple cards to create disposable tokens on your board.

Another huge problem is that you can only activate this effect at the beginning of your main phase. In other words, only on the following turn. That gives your opponent plenty of room to respond to it or simply win the game.

Spending 10 energy and 2 power, then being forced to kill 3 units just to score a point, is far too expensive to make sense.
