Beast Below, Unit, designed by Six More Vodka first released in Mar, 2026 in the set .
**Beast Below** fits best in a tempo- or midrange-focused Riftbound deck that benefits from replaying its own units for value—especially ones with strong “when played” effects—while simultaneously disrupting the opponent’s board presence. It works well in bounce-synergy or ETB (enter-the-battlefield) value decks that can turn the self-bounce into an advantage rather than a drawback. However, at 7 cost, it competes with stronger late-game threats, so unless your deck actively benefits from replaying units, more efficient removal, hard removal with no drawback, or cheaper tempo tools would likely be better. If the format includes a lower-cost unit with a similar bounce effect or a one-sided removal option, those would generally be stronger picks. Overall, Beast Below is playable in synergy-heavy tempo builds but is unlikely to be a staple unless the meta heavily rewards bounce-based value loops.
