About Whirlwind

Whirlwind, Spell, designed by Polar Engine Studio first released in March 2026 in the set Origins. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of $ 0.16.

**Whirlwind** is best suited for tempo‑oriented or midrange decks that want to disrupt board development while replaying their own high‑value or “enter the battlefield” units; it shines in builds that can either replay cheap value units efficiently or that run fewer but more impactful creatures so the symmetrical effect hurts opponents more than you. It’s particularly strong in bounce/synergy decks or lists that can force opponents to pick up heavily invested or buffed units, effectively undoing their tempo. However, in aggressive decks it’s usually too slow, and in control decks there are often better, more one‑sided options—such as targeted bounce spells (e.g., a single‑target Recall effect) or full board resets that don’t give opponents choice. If Riftbound has a cheaper or non‑symmetrical bounce spell, that would generally be better. Overall, Whirlwind is playable in synergy‑focused tempo shells but is meta‑dependent and unlikely to be a staple unless the format is heavy on board‑c
