With its release, more cards will be hitting physical stores for you to collect and build new decks.We are excited to announce that Riot Games has granted us an exclusive first look at one of the new cards to showcase here at Cards Realm!Repulse - New Riftbound Unleashed CardRepulse is one of the new additions in Unleashed. This one-cost card will be the first orange domain counter to arrive in the League of Legends TCG.In addition to being an uncommon reaction spell, the card features the following text:"Reaction (Play any time, even before spells and abilities resolve.)Choose a friendly unit on a battlefield. Counter an enemy spell or ability that chooses it and no other friendly unit."The orange color was lacking options for dealing with removals. With Repulse, these decks no longer need to worry about overspending resources by stacking combat tricks just to try to save their units. Repulse ensures that Orange decks are no longer dependent on the Green color to negate spells.Rengar, Kha’Zix, Poppy, and all other Orange Legends can now feel more secure in difficult matchups against removal-heavy decks. While you still cannot deal with multi-target removal, Repulse arrives to change the way we build some decks in Riftbound.References to Legends of RuneterraLike most Riftbound cards, Repulse is based on a card from Legends of Runeterra. The spell makes a direct reference to Riot's digital card game by using the same artwork and a similar effect to Memory's Cloak.By bringing a highly valuable and scarce mechanic to this domain, Repulse will likely be a staple and appear in most orange decks!We would like to thank Riot Games for this partnership, and we hope you enjoyed the new spell.
