Gokken, Tovenarij, designed by Andrew Goldhawk first released in Oct, 1998 in the set Urza's Saga and was printed exactly in 12 different ways. It see play in 2 formats: Commander and Brawl.
Een kaartspel dat zich richt op kerkhofrecursie of manieren heeft om te profiteren van het weggooien van kaarten, zou er baat bij hebben Gamble in hun strategie op te nemen. Er zijn echter betere kaarten zoals Entomb of Vampiric Tutor die een consistentere kaartselectie bieden zonder het nadeel van willekeurig weggooien. Gamble zou spel kunnen zien in kaartspellen die op zoek zijn naar redundantie in hun kaartzoekeffecten of die willen profiteren van de willekeur voor een potentieel risicovolle speelstijl met hoge beloningen.
